AVENCREST AVIATION · AIRCRAFT ACQUISITION

Buying a private jet in the UAE

For a UAE-based buyer, the useful first question is not “Which private jet is best?” It is “Which aircraft fits my recurring journeys and ownership arrangements?”

Start with a brief for Dubai, Abu Dhabi or your intended base, then request the actual aircraft records. Avencrest’s collection is a starting point for comparison; current location, availability and suitability require individual confirmation.

1. Define the base and recurring routes

List the airport you expect to use, usual passenger numbers, luggage requirements and the trips that matter most. Compare regional Gulf travel separately from Europe, Asia or North America. Give your aviation adviser a realistic annual utilisation estimate and identify seasonal peaks, rather than selecting an aircraft on its longest possible flight.

Ask for aircraft-specific performance assessment under the expected conditions. Brochure maximum range does not account for every combination of passengers, baggage, winds, temperatures, runway restrictions and reserves.

2. Choose cabin priorities you can verify

Decide whether work, family travel or overnight rest should shape the cabin. Ask for approved seating and sleeping arrangements, baggage access, communications equipment and the dated interior specification. Distinguish installed equipment from options shown in a manufacturer photograph.

Compare Gulfstream G700, Global 8000 and ACJ TwoTwenty where cabin size and long-distance travel are priorities. Include Challenger 3500 in a separate mission comparison where a super-midsize aircraft may suit your use. These are comparison candidates, not endorsements for a particular route.

3. Separate purchase, registration and operation

Owning an aircraft, registering it and obtaining the approvals needed to operate it are different questions. Ask your qualified advisers to confirm ownership eligibility, the proposed registration state, airworthiness requirements and the intended operating arrangement before committing.

The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority publishes civil aircraft registration requirements and aviation regulations. Use the GCAA’s official website for current requirements and services. We do not represent the authority or guarantee registration or operating approval.

4. Compare the complete acquisition proposal

Request the asking price and currency, aircraft location, inspection arrangements, delivery basis and any separately quoted services. Ask your tax adviser about the proposed transaction structure and any import or tax consequences; a listing price alone does not establish the cost of bringing an aircraft into use.

Build a separate ownership budget for crew, management, insurance, hangarage, fuel, maintenance, programmes and reserves. Review private jet ownership cost categories without treating illustrative budgets as quotations.

5. Protect the transaction and handover

Agree how title and seller authority will be checked, who conducts the pre-purchase inspection and what happens if discrepancies are identified. Verify payment instructions through an independently established contact route. Record the documents, aircraft condition and responsibilities required at delivery.

Before requesting a viewing, read the aircraft evidence checklist and our payment, refund and maintenance information. A written contract must define the transaction; the website is not a replacement for independent advice.

Buyer questions

Can I buy a private jet for use in Dubai?

You can enquire about an aircraft acquisition. Whether an individual aircraft and ownership structure meet your intended use must be reviewed by qualified legal and operational advisers; the website does not establish eligibility or approval.

Is the displayed aircraft in the UAE?

Do not assume so. Request its current location, availability and viewing arrangements before planning travel.

Do you provide a fixed price online?

No. Prices are on request. Ask for an aircraft-specific proposal, currency and delivery basis, and review any additional costs separately.

Price on request. Individual specification and availability require verification. An enquiry does not confirm a viewing or purchase.
